Impact factors on the PG supervisee students’ engagement & relationships

Abstract
The relationship of supervisor-supervisee and impacting factors on it has been examined by many research scholars. The study, through a critical discussion , addresses the issues of ‘How’ students can best be supported in engaging with their studies and balancing other demands/interests, how the supervisory team can work together effectively, how conflicts & tensions can be managed effectively, ‘What’ challenges/opportunities are presented when working with international students. Various issues of PG supervision were critically addressed and recommendations were provided. One important issue is the impact of relations ,challenges and learning environment in which people operate and collaborate. Planning in advance and critically examining tailor-made approaches to supervisees’ needs adds significant value which results in contributing to a constructive learning experience and increase of individuals’ performance
